Markit Scoops Award for Best Derivatives Data Provider

The results were announced at the Financial News Awards for IT Excellence - Europe 2005 ceremony in London last night.
A panel of independent judges, drawn from industry experts at market consultancies and research firms, voted overwhelmingly for Markit in the Derivatives Data category. Runners-up included Reuters, Thomson Financial and Bloomberg.
