Leo Schlinkert

Leo Schlinkert is responsible for Markit's data Distribution Services including Markit Desktop, market Data Solutions and Alliance Partners. Leo is co-founder of Communicator Inc. which Markit acquired in 2006. His other experience includes serving as a Managing Director at Salomon Smith Barney, where he led the firm's global fixed income electronic commerce operations and corporate bond sales. An integral part of the creation of electronic marketplaces as TradeWeb (also serving as a board member), Euro-MTS and BrokerTec, Leo holds a BS in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and serves on its Advisory Board.
