Structured Finance Sales Associate

Job Description:

This is a major growth opportunity for a self-disciplined, ambitious and high energy individual to play a significant role in developing the franchise in Europe for Markit's growing ABS (Asset Backed Securities) business.
The individual will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing leads, as well as demonstrating an advanced data and analytics platform used by institutional ABS (Asset Backed Securities) and ABX investors and traders. The candidate will support all aspects of the sales process and will develop a target list of new prospects which they will be responsible to close.

Duties and

Responsible for identifying and qualifying leads; generating a continually growing pipeline of sales opportunities
Manage qualified sales opportunities and working as a team player to efficiently utilize and deploy internal company resources
Communicate all key information during the sales process so that management, client support and product development teams have timely information for decision making
Assistance in the implementation of all marketing related activities which would include: conference participation, sales collateral production, client entertainment; association memberships

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate must be able to combine:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Direct work experience in the Financial Services Industry in either fixed come or in ABS would be helpful
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Strong time management and organizational skills
Proven successful track record in consultative sales, repeatedly meeting and exceeding sales quotas
