Marketing Site Web Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Markit's Development Marketing team to work as part of the public Marketing site.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to enhance/maintain existing content management system, in Magnolia
Ability to work closely with Business to provide solutions for the Marketing Site
Ability to liaise with vendors on sourcing and supporting the correct solutions for the CMS system

Skills and Experience:

Experience of working as a web developer within a multinational company environment, preferably within the finance sector
Consistent track record of delivery to excellent standards
Strong academics preferred, ideally a good honours degree
Self motivated with the ability to take a project through its complete lifecycle
Be comfortable dealing with senior individuals with a strong client and service orientation
Must have a self-starting, driven, assertive and positive attitude
Ability to meet tight internal/external deadlines
High level of competency and good communication skills both written and verbal required
Able to time manage himself/herself and other junior developers as required
Team player and willing to progress in a rapidly growing/changing environment

Required:

Javascript, Ajax, HTML, familiarity with wide range of available web technologies
Java (4+ years)
Experience of a range of CMS’s
