Loans Developer, Team Lead
Markit is looking for experienced technologists to become members of its North American development team based in New York, NY. Responsibilities include leading a team of developers, selecting appropriate technical direction, interacting with product management, setting priorities and monitoring progress. This is a hands on leadership position so it will include some analysis of business requirements and specifications, coding, and writing documentation for various agile development projects.
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate must have:
- 3+ Years of experience working as a Technical Lead
- Must have experience with MS Project or similar, and proficient at driving project schedules
- Excellent business analysis skills as well as excellent communication skills
- Must have complete SDLC Experience
- 5+ Years experience working with J2EE. Experience with high volume sites
- 5+ Years experience working with Sybase/SQL. Knowledge of Oracle will be a plus
- 5+ years of experience working with UNIX
- 2+ Years experience working with Swing
- Experience with C, C++, or .NET a plus
- Proficient with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Perl knowledge is a plus
- Experience working JBoss or other J2EE application server is a must
- Experience working closely with internal and external business clients
- Excellent communicator
