Capacity Management Analyst

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop the Configuration Management Plan
• Identify Configuration Items (CI's) to be managed
•  Own the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
•  Maintain configuration control of documentation, including policy statements, business processes, standard operating procedures, and related form
•  Serve as the organization's liaison in an effort to coordinate with other components that perform related CM activities
• Participate in the Change Management process to reinforce controls for keeping the CMDB up-to-date
• Coordinate procurement process; participate in improvement of the Procurement processes
• Participate in establishing capacity management policy
• Support Release and Change Management Boards
• Conduct configuration audits

Skills and Experience Required:

• Excellent understanding of the Configuration and Capacity management disciplines
• Working knowledge of SNMP and SNMP based management tools is a must
• Past background in system administration is an advantage
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to structure sophisticated problems and trace them back to the root
• Detail orientated, focused and task driven
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills; team player
• Experience on a similar position is a big advantage
• University graduate highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and writing skills in English
